Screenshots and costume tests from TFA !

In mid June, a set of pictures surfaced that appeared to be screenshots and costume tests for Episode VII : The Force Awakens ! The former show Han, Rey, and Finn in the cockpit of the Millennium Falcon ; this is possibly towards the end of the film, as the heroes make their way to a planet where answers will be revealed and all three will find themselves in mortal danger ! A second image shows the actor Domnhall Gleeson in Imperial Officer attire against the background of an Imperial command centre or space ship.
The other images appear to be a screen test for Leia's costume, clearly influenced by the style and cut of the rebel soldiers aboard the Tantive in Episode IV : A New Hope ; and in the Second Teaser Trailer we caught a glimpse of Leia in this outfit as she received Luke's old lightsabre.

| Briefly, we heard some further rumours of possible plots - or a firming up of previous plot rumours - for the next Anthology films ; namely, a 'Han Solo - Boba Fett' stand-alone movie, where previously these characters had been considered singley ; and not just a singular Obi-Wan Kenobi movie, but a possible stand-alone trilogy ?!

| Likewise, some brief rumours appearing for Rian Johnson's Episode VIII, promoting the return of Lando Calrissian, essentially on a vengeance adventure, and a possible female villain, such as a Sith Lord. Early days, to be sure, but fun to start "looking away to the horizon" !!

| At the end of June, StarWars7News.com spotted a new singular 'splash page' on the Official Site for 'The Force Awakens' - there are no other similarly addressed pages for the other episodes ?! - that, in the form of a virtual reality web page, presents trailers, gallery pictures, and downloads.... as well as, by scrolling into the 'northern hemisphere', reveals what many believe to be our first glimpse of the new desert planet Jakku seen from space ! The fansite provides a close-up image, and we can see a sandy-grey world with at least one massive impact crater ! They wonder, not unnaturally, if this 'easter egg' will be accompanied shortly by other such planets as the final six months to Episode VII's premiere slip by.......

| The excitement mounts in our illustrated Virtual Edition of Episode VII : Plague of Doom ! Master Oppo Rancisis has just sensed the approach of yet more TIE fighters to replace the pursuit that had just been destroyed ! These fighter pilots, familiar with the local terrain, have exploited a widening in the fissure above Devil Squadron, and swoop down, guns blazing ! |

| In other VE news, I've been taking the opportunity to elaborate the Kashyyyk mission in our Episode IX story drafting. As always, it's essential that the story moves forward with suitably engaging and exciting 'gags' - action set-pieces - that provide a sense of jeopardy as well as drive the story forward in a real and logical sense. |
