| The Official Site, in alliance with the american Cartoon Network, have released the first of twenty short cartoons detailing the adventures from the Clone Wars ! |
| Unveiling last night, the 7th of november, fans will get to see some of the decisive battles briefly referred to by Princess Leia and Luke Skywalker. Along with novels and games, these animated short movies will finally play out the events that brought about an Empire, and fomented a rebellion ! In a galaxy-wide war fought on a thousand fronts, the Republic Loyalists and their Jedi generals lead cloned armies against the charismatic leader of the Separatist worlds, Count Dooku. Powerful guilds resource vast droid armies that are determined to take over the ailing Republic .... but with a puppet master in the shadows, what is the real agenda ... and to whom does it belong ?! |
| We have been discussing the Lucasfilm Clone Wars matérial - the novels as well as the new cartoon series - here in this thread of the discussion forum, while this thread discusses the Clone Wars lore in general. |
| Where the Official Site has produced a timeline of Clone Wars events, one wonders - and hopes - that these stories, and their various forms of presentation, will be in keeping with the style and continuity of the Star Wars universe. As long as methodical attention to detail is given, these may well become a worthy part of the canonical lore ! |
