The Revenge of the Sith teaser trailer is released !

| Yesterday, StarWars.com released the teaser trailer for Episode III : Revenge of the Sith ! |
| Nearly two minutes in length, the trailer opens with Obi-Wan Kenobi describing a version of Luke's heritage to the farmboy in A New Hope, then pauses with a reveal of a menacing hooded Anakin turning to the camera. |
| A vulcanic setting continues the introduction, and then the trailer is intercut with Lord Darth Vader strapped to a rising medical table and quick shots from Episode III. Once Vader is upright and filling the shot, the montage continues as a whole. Other than the lines from the fourth episode, the only other dialogue is Sidious commanding his Sith Apprentice to rise, and the Dark Lord obeying the instruction. |
There is much in the montage to savour, begging one to follow it frame-by-frame !
We see glimpses of :
The Duel
The opening space battle
Wookiees on Kashyyyk
Tion Medon, the "friendly alien"
The droids on the Tantive IV
Mace's last stand
The proto X-Wing
And the piéce de resistance ....
Lord Sidious striking a killing blow with his lightsabre !!

| We don't as yet know if any further trailers will be released now in november as was the case for Attack of the Clones, but although I'm desperate for more material, I think I'd prefer to savour it over the coming months rather than all in one rush now. |

| And last weekend the official site updated their Hyperspace webdocs with "Becoming Obi-Wan", focusing on the physical and mannered transformation of Ewan to Alec as well as from padawan to master. Most of these 'Making Of' webdocs are being talked about in this forum thread. |
