Pinning down the cast of Episode IX in Jordan !

| Towards the end of November several sites were able to collate who had been present at Wadi Rum in Jordan for the filming of Episode IX. SWNN in particular had been able to verify the following actors were present : Daisy Ridley (Rey), John Boyega (Finn), Oscar Isaac (Poe), Joonas Suotamo (Chewie), and possibly Anthony Daniels (C-3PO). |

In mid November, fansite SWNN was able to reveal castings for the new live-action TV show The Mandalorian : Pedro Pascal has been cast as the titular character, while actress and martial arts fighter Gina Carano will join him. Later it was rumoured that veteran actor Nick Nolte had also been cast. And, separately, fansite MSW believes they have found more clues to indicate that The Mandalorian will be set on Tatooine.

At the beginning of the month, the offical site revealed that, hot on the heels of the in-production live-action TV show The Mandalorian, development is underway on a second TV show, this time following the adventures of rebel agent Cassian Andor, set before his demise in Rogue One, and will be "a rousing espionage thriller with daring missions against the ruthless Empire" ! The show will allow Diego Luna to reprise his role, and will film next year.

Following on from the publication last month of the virtual edition Episode IX Duel of the Fates I had sent copies of the Word document to both Dave, the fan who had been following the project's development since its early days and had given encouraging feedback on Episode IX's final draft, and to Scott, who had been co-writer throughout the project until about 2014 when, due to personal & family commitments, he had to withdraw from the collaboration. At the end of November Scott replied back to say how much he enjoyed this final chapter and how impressed he had been in my ability to juggle all the plots in the air and resolve them neatly. It was heart-warming to hear his response on a project that we first began following Revenge of the Sith's release in 2005 !

With additional technical help, I was able to complete my virtual edition Millennium Falcon floor plan with 'hover code' that reveals green dots on the central image. Now when one hovers over the side bar pictures, corresponding dots appear in the relevant sections of the ship. This can be found here and on the left hand menu panel here on the main page.

General Han Solo has landed the Millennium Falcon in a hidden canyon on Kessel, and the virtual edition Episode VII : Plague of Doom continues as he leads Luke and Leia and the droids through a smuggler's tunnel to a vantage point on a cliff ledge overlooking the Hutt castle and mining operations.
